''Woke Up Laughing'' is a 1998 album of remixes, re-recordings and otherwise creative approaches to Robert Palmer's music recorded over the years that reflected his love of world music. Subtitled ''Adventures in Tropical Music: 1977-1997'', he produced the new versions himself. Suggested to Palmer by Gerald Seligman, the Executive Producer and creator of EMI Hemisphere, Palmer rejected the idea of a simple compilation, preferring a rethink and a fresh approach. It is: "A collection of songs inspired by a love of the world of music, 1977-1997, with many alternate versions appearing for the first time on disc." ==Track listing== # Housework # Charanga (Version ) # Woke Up Laughing 79/89 (2: Entirely New Version from 1989 ) # Aeroplane # History # What's It Take? # Pride # Chance # Honeymoon () # Best of Both Worlds () # Monogamy () # Honey Bee # Casting a Spell () # Between Us (with Alternate Vocal ) Released on Metro Blue, the label affiliate of Blue Note Records, based in New York City. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Woke Up Laughing」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
